Access to education is a right, but unfortunately, many children face obstacles that prevent them from receiving it. Imagine being a child. You are going to school every day with shoes that are too small, too big, or worn out. The shoes have holes at the bottom due to excessive use and you have to share your only pair with a family member! You feel uncomfortable, less confident, and unable to focus on learning. Now, think about getting bullied or made fun of because of your shoes .​

 Statement of Need:
In Clark County, many students face the challenge of attending school without adequate footwear, which affects their self-esteem, academics, socialization, and even physical health. Studies show that proper shoes can influence a child's participation in school activities and sports, directly impacting their academic performance and personal development. Unfortunately, families struggling with financial hardship often cannot afford quality footwear for their children, limiting their opportunities for growth.
